The Sales Enablement Manager at the Consumer Accessories leader was brainstorming. It was the top Distributor Meet. The top management from the  National Distributors was invited to The Leela Palace at Bangalore. Top executives from San Jose were landing up for the event. It was a day-long business strategy session and an evening of entertainment. The meet was likely to set the course of the year ahead.

They wanted to create engagement, mindshare, and excitement during the distributor meet. The Customer Accessories major was thinking of building a web-based platform, while we silently suggested, “How about doing it on the Bsharp platform which you anyways have access to?”.

  • The “Sales Enablement Manager” created a channel for the distributors in the Bsharp platform.

  • They put in the event information like date, venue, logistics, speaker profile.

  • They wanted some pre-event discussions: They let the top company executives and distributors engage – in compartmentalized chats to maintain confidentiality.

Step 2: D Day – 3:
Daily Quiz Competition:

  • They announced prizes for the top winners for the Daily Quiz Competition

  • Every day, they played a critical product video and asked 3 questions about it

  • Distributor Managers participated in the excitement, answered quiz scored points

  • This happened for three days before the event

  • The D-Day “Annual Distributor Meet” event started with prizes for the Top scorers in the daily quiz

  • The content of the day was distributed through this platform

  • The distributors could comment in the discussions and express their opinion on the year’s strategy

Step 4: D Day ++: Feedback forms, Thanks Videos:

  • The post-event feedback form was deployed and answered through this platform

  • Some more closing content was deployed

  • The worldwide manager could send a thank you message to the distributors through the platform
